Ha!Ha! Tricked You!
Our little Reece has now mastered the art of trickery at a young 18 months of age! Reece can get into anything these days and our latest battle is trying to keep Reece from getting into the fridge. Reece knows that as soon as that door opens Mom, Dad or Brother and Sister will be there in an instant to get him out.. The other thing that Reece loves to do is vacuum when ever he can although he mostly likes to have the vacuum suck his face and skin to make that farting noise (if you know what I mean).. So here is the very funny story, (although honestly I don't think that telling this story can really do it justice, I think you had to be there but let's try!). Andrew was told to vacuum the kitchen and floor so here he is going through all the work to get the vacuum all set up and running when all of a sudden Reece b-lined to get into the fridge knowing good and well that Andrew would have to shoo him away.. So a frustrated Andrew drops the vacuum and heads over to get get Reece out of the fridge and as soon as Andrew was almost to him Reece turns and goes like a bat out of heck around the island the opposite way of Andrew to take over the vacuum with this hilarious evil grin and laugh.. Oh my gosh, it was so funny! I wish you could have seen it..
Working, Working, Working
Jay has been putting in the hours again at never leaveby's getting ready for the silver cup inspection/contest so we have not really seen him at all this week and weekend.. May 8th is the day but unfortunately things will not get better for him as we have an impending surgery that needs to get done on his shoulder which will leave his right arm imobilized for three months! We see the doctor tomorrow to set up a time for that and for him to check out my ankle issues as I am having lots of pain at the incision site and problems with swelling.. Oh goodie!
Fun with Bark and Plants
On Saturday, Dawn and I spruced up her front yard. We yanked the ugly Rhode's, planted beautiful new plants, re-seeded and fertilized the lawn and re-barked all the flower beds. It looks awesome! I enjoyed playing with my green thumb although my body is a little bit in protest today and so is Dawn's... It is funny to feel all the unusual places your muscles ache. Lily and Andrew got into the action as well as being the dedicated weed pullers and flower handlers.. We had fun together!
Viva Las Wedding!
As we close in to the July 4th Wedding Date we have been busy trying to finalize wedding plans for Vegas! We all are so excited for the wedding it should be great! Jacki (Nikki and Stacey's Momma), Stacey and I are throwing Nikki a Wedding Shower on June 3rd so we are working on that as well! Lots to do and little time.. you know the drill..
