Honestly, I think either my two year old is deaf or I am a mute who really thinks she can talk. This is really the the only plausible excuse I can come up with to explain why my toddler son won't don't do as I ask.... =) Seriously, we are having a battle of wills as of late and I am sad to report that I am on the loosing end. To add salt to the wound add a four year old to the mix with the same hearing loss and you have total chaos and embarrassment.
Like today for example, I had to pick Andrew up from school and so I asked the boys to be on their best behavior in the school as I needed to talk to Andrew's Teacher and Counselor and so I needed them to be quiet and stay with me.. What do the little monsters do??? You guessed it the total opposite of what I asked. They were running and yelling and hitting and screaming, wrestling, running off and you name it.. and here I am trying to control them and having no luck because as soon as I would conquer one child the other would run off and so on and so forth.. I am so embarrassed. Ugh! It seems any solution I come up with to try and stray away from these behaviors is not working so if you have any suggestions please send them my way.... =)
My sweet Andrew is having a rough go at it too. We are in the midst of a medication change and he is having a hard time adjusting so much in fact that I am needing to keep him home from school until we get him to a better place as he is unable to function in the school setting as of now and will have to miss taking the WASL.
Lily is doing great and growing like a weed. She is working hard on the WASL and when she is not at school she and her best friend Ari are jump, jump, jumping on the trampoline either at our house or Ari's.. She is my little froggy =)
I have not mentioned before but Jay has started a new job about 2 months ago at the Puyallup DQ. He is doing great and is really liking his new job. If you can, go visit him sometime up there he would love it. It is up on Meridian on the South Hill heading towards Graham right after 152nd. =)
Well, that is all for now folks.. Have a great night..
