An afternoon at Point Defiance Park

We decided to spend the afternoon one Sunday in May at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. This is our absolute favorite park and the place where Jay and I started our journey together as husband and wife 11 years ago..

Our favorite part of the park is the Duck Pond/Rose garden area. Although we are saddened to report that they now have signs up that you can't feed the ducks :( which makes us sad.. But nonetheless we had a fabulous time and here are some pictures we took from that day!

Reece is the MAN!
Super Andrew!
Our Buggy! :)
Hanging out in the cool U shape tree with Dad..
... and with me..
more tree exploring around the Duck pond.
and comes my kiddos favorite part of the trip to the park.. Mr. Tree
The love climbing Mr. Tree and it has become tradition to do everytime we are at the park.
even Lola likes to be apart of the Mr. Tree's action!
Where's Waldo.. I mean Reece??
So besides feeding the ducks (which we can't do anymore) and climbing Mr. Tree the next best thing is rolling down Mr. Grassy-hill behind Mr. Tree..
rollin rollin rollin...
dizzy pause in rolling..  :)
woo hoo!
The kids have so much fun with that.. I remember when I did too when I was there age.. maybe I need to do it again someday for old time sakes!
:)

I will end this post with a very strange image I captured of Lily.. I have no idea what she was doing.. I just think it is cute and a little silly.. :)
